Please complete this application form as best you can by 7th September, and get in touch if you have any questions. You can contact Philip Calcott (pcalcott@gmail.com) or Roger Abbott (rpa24@faraday.cam.ac.uk).

Where?

Staff from The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion will be visiting from the UK to run this weekend: from 18-22 September 2023 at Waterberg Cottages, 25km east of Vaalwater (Google maps link: www.tinyurl.com/WaterbergCottagesMap)

Cost?

The cost of the course (including food & accommodation) is R3900. If you really want to come but can’t pay the full amount, still apply! There are some scholarships available for motivated students who can’t afford the cost.

A course for university students and church leaders. Questions with a star need an answer, otherwise it won’t submit.

Data

In the process of organising this course, please note that personal data entered into this form will be sent to Dr. Philip Calcott, Faraday Associate and co-organiser of this Faraday Course and co-owner of The Waterburg Cottages Game Reserve and Resort.

As your data has been collected in the UK and as no Adequacy Agreement with South Africa exists, we cannot ensure adequate protection for your data on transfer.  We understand that you are resident in South Africa and therefore we do not anticipate any objections but should you have any questions regarding this data transfer to South Africa, or wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us on admin@faraday.cam.ac.uk.

Because numbers are limited we will sadly not be able to accept all applications, so let us know why you’d like to come – and hopefully we will see you there, or at another course in the future!

Applications for this course are now closed however if you would like to still express an interest in this course please contact Philip Calcott (pcalcott@gmail.com) or Roger Abbott (rpa24@faraday.cam.ac.uk).
